Colleen- Office Manager
Colleen has been involved with Howard County Smiles since 1993. Prior to working here she was an ICU nurse at Bayview Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Her career has always been in the healthcare field. Colleen’s goal is to continually work towards growing and improving the patient care experience at Howard County Smiles and making it our patient’s long term dental home. She loves seeing how we are able to so positively impact a patients life by improving their smile. Colleen has 3 wonderful children, Michael, Breanna and Alexis. During her free time she enjoys time with her husband, Ray and cycling, yoga, reading and camping.
Brie has been an assistant and lab technician for Howard County Smiles for about 4 years now. A recent graduate of JMU, Brie uses her degree in studio art every day at work.
In her free time, Brie enjoys spending time with friends and family being outdoors and drawing. She will be applying to dental school in the summer.
Jillynda- Patient Coordinator
Jillynda is a native of the Pacific Northwest. Throughout her early childhood, she knew that she would one day work in the medical and/or dental field. Well, she did both when she joined the Coast Guard in 1989. She spent 24 years of active duty service, with 23 of those years working in both of those fields. She retired from the Coast Guard in 2013. She feels fortunate to have found a new work home with a wonderful dental family at Howard County Smiles.
Jillynda has been blessed with three beautiful daughters who are the sunshine in her life. During her time off, Jillynda finds enjoyment going to antique show, taking photographs of nature and spending time with her feet in the sand at the beach.
Randall- Dental Hygienist
My name is Randall and I am happy to be at Howard County Smiles. I graduated from dental hygiene school in Honolulu, Hawaii. I was living on the island with my husband, Alex who is on active duty in the Army. After a few years, our family moved back stateside and we’ve been living in Maryland ever since.
I am so grateful to have found a place in an office that is willing to let me utilize my skills and grow. Another great aspect of working at Howard County Smiles is that the team member treats our patients and one another like family.
When I’m not at work, I am busy chasing my 4-year-old-son, Owen, around the house. He is a ham and the life of the party. Our daughter, Alejandra Isabella was born on March 17th. Our weekends are often spent learning more about the area and enjoying playing with our two dogs. Lily, our white husky, and Jack our Jack Russel Terrier.
